What can be treated at an urgent care facility?

When a patient walks through the door, our goal is to find out what is wrong and do everything we can to help them feel better as quickly as possible. We treat everything from the common cold to the flu, strep throat, migraines and much more. We refer patients with chest pain, severe abdominal pain, severe lacerations, head injuries, wound management, fractures or broken bones to a hospital.  

How much will a visit cost? 

Unlike other healthcare facilities where patients often incur additional charges after an appointment, the pricing at Renew Medical is clear, with no hidden costs.  For a standard doctors visit to treat a common sickness or infection the cost is $95. A basic examination for employment or sports teams is $95. Prices may vary based on each patient’s healthcare needs. We do not submit claims to any insurance provider. 

Do I need an appointment?

You will need an appointment to see one of our doctors, physician’s assistants or nurse practitioners. No membership required. We do not offer extended hours.

Can urgent care facilities prescribe medications? 

At Renew Medical, we frequently write prescriptions to help cure common sicknesses such as strep throat, upper respiratory infection and the flu. Our staff can also write prescriptions for stable medical conditions including, high blood pressure, diabetes, thyroid disorders and high cholesterol. We do not provide refills on narcotic pain medicines, attention deficit disorder (ADD) medicines or controlled anxiety medicines.
